Denmark is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe, bordered by Germany to the south and connected to Sweden by the Øresund Bridge linking Copenhagen and Malmö. Denmark stretches from the Jutland Peninsula in the west to the eastern islands, and is commonly divided into three main geographical areas: Jutland, Funen, and Zealand, where the capital city Copenhagen is located.
